One in a million

Sometimes we get wrapped up in the high school dramatics of this whole blogging world. There are some real asscakes out there that need to have their heads promptly removed from their own derriere.

But more often than not you run across some amazing women. Women that are so selfless and giving that it makes you forget the assholes that try to ruin it. Women that go above and beyond for a stranger. Women that you connect with on a deeper level. Women that care for you and your family just as much as those that know you in the real world.

One of these women is Kayleigh.

I posted a few months back about my heart break over never receiving the one special Christmas gift I had ordered for Smith. A tradition that I so desperately wanted for my son. A hand painted ornament that reflects where he was in his life every Christmas.

Kayleigh emailed me to see if it would be okay if she tried to recreate what I had originally ordered. Of course my heart swooned at just the offer! I mean, how amazing is this woman, who while in the midst of planning her own wedding, would take the time to hand paint an ornament for my baby boy. A boy that she has never met in real life, but holds dear to her heart nonetheless.

My sweet little surprise arrived in the mail this weekend. And its beyond anything I could have dreamed. I am so grateful for the time, dedication, and consideration Kayleigh took to make this for my boy. My eyes are once again, filled with tears at her generosity.

Thank you Kayleigh. You are truly one in a million.
