I fucking hate it.
Last time I was there, they found four cavities and decided to dig into my face. The days leading up to my filling appointment caused me to literally have stomach cramps and break out like a 13 year old boy. Stah-ress.
After all the fixin, they insisted that if I brush and floss and rinse with mouthwash EVERY DAY, I will be fine.
I go in for a normal cleaning this morning? And BAM! Hit like a muthafucka by captain criticism for having bleeding gums.
I mean, honestly? Considering you are jabbing me in the head with hard, sharp, metal objects... I think I'm entitled to a little bleeding.
Next time I think I'll just kick her in the head then give her shit for complaining of a headache.

I don't like the dentist either. They are mean, and they ALWAYS hurt me.

i hate the dentist. i'd rather go to the gyno every day for the rest of my life than ever go to the dentist again. and i just got the bill for my last cleaning and that confirmed i won't be going back for a while.
I LOVE the dentist for a cleaning HATE HATE HATE the dentist for anything else. And oh yeah did I tell you that I am the special one that novicaine benzicaine or any other "caine" doesnt work for me! So yeah dental work with no numbing action is doubly painful and makes me want to vomit, oh wait I did VOMIT last time - GREAT!
They say the same thing to me. I was sick of going and being told how disgusting it all was. Seriously, they aren't that bad. I'm definitely switching dentists. ASAP. Sorry your dentist sucks too!
I would find a new one to go to. Which sucks, but worth it. I went to a dentist that my mom and MIL worked for in high school and instantly came out with over 9 cavities filled. Never had one before.
Since I switched? Zero. I have had others say the same about him. I don't care if my MIL is a hygienist for him, I refuse to go to him.
I don't believe in his dentistry.

Wow, so many comments saying they HATE their dentist! Well I LOVE mine .. like really Love. Because he's my DAD! And he's fabulous, both as a person and as a tooth professional. Ha.
Sounds like you need to see a new dentist, stat. Bleeding gums aren't normal if you're brushing/flossing/mouthwashing .. but you certainly don't need to be shit on for something that's out of your control!!

I have a few cavities I have been avoiding, mostly due to insurance crapola. I actually just made an apt yesterday to go in.

Ugh I had a routine cleaning last week and after 26 years of perfect teeth, I walked out of the office in tears due to the fact that I now need braces. WHAT. THE. HELL. I feel your pain sister, I HATE the dentist with every ounce of my being. But now I hate it even more, if that's humanly possible.
