For those that asked about the Rodan and Fields that I'm using... it's the Reverse system. Contact Jess for more details. I swear by it.
Potty training is in full force. I cannot believe the high falutant, flag waving, screaming up and down, high fives and hugs out the asshole that we go through to celebrate a little piss.

But truly, it's pretty damn incredible.
| I came. I saw. I conquered the pee. |
Smith is rocking the 'ish out of his little Elmo potty and almost goes on command. I never thought I'd be one to celebrate bodily functions, but my God pee is awesome. Especially when it comes from your little semi-human that you created with your bomb ass husband with a little help Pandora radio and a bottle of cheap champagne (sorry Mom and smith when you are reading this in twenty years).
Hard to believe we have gone from this bobblehead newborn to this amazingly smart and FUNNY two and a half year old. That whole addage about them growing up fast is so true. Stop it, dude. Stay just the way you are for another, oh 10 years or so. I am LOVING this. Except for that whole sleep issue (which is improving for anyone keeping tabs) and the tantrum throwing over pouring your juice into an orange cup instead of a green one. Epic. Meltdowns.
We're also in the process of moving Smurfdizzle into a big boy bed. And I have picked out some awesome bedding from Land of the Nod. Gah! I know, shoot me. I am getting all name brand and swanky on your ass. Trust. This isn't me. But it is a matter of cheese versus cute. And cute wins no matter the cost when it comes to something I have to stare at every day. Dude is way into tractors and excavators and garbage trucks. And I refuse to have primary colors invade or make his room look like Cars 2 threw up all over the place.
Cuteness right?
Cheers and happy peeing to everyone.

Way to go Smith!! I sure hope Bellamy is ready to potty train while Im on maternity leave this spring! Fingers crossed!
PS... cute bedding friend!
Yay for potty training! I love this post. We are going through the same thing! Plus your little man is SOOOOOO adorable.
Oh I totally get the melt downs too. Mine had a conniption when I decided to put ice in his water yesterday, he always has ice WTF? Toddler minds are crazy. All I can say.
Bedding is so cute as well. I'm so scared to move Hunter into a big boy bed.
That bedding is worth every freaking cent! I love it!
Yay Smith! Super cute bedding! We have sippy cup color meltdowns too.
Great job Smith!!! Potty training is one of the most frustrating and rewarding things, EVER. I used to work at a daycare in Preschool and we would be potty training like 20 of them at a time. I kind of wanted to jump off a cliff, but once that last one was out of diapers, it was awesome!
Yay for potty training! So glad to hear that it's going well AND that sleep is getting better.
Love the bedding and go Smith! So awesome! Be one with the pee (and poo) :)!
Hooray for pee! Love that bedding too, it's really sweet.
Way to go Smith!!!!!!!! You gotta be a proud Momma! And I LOVE that bedding! :)
Yay for peeing on the potty! And I heart land of nod- I bought Danni's big girl bedding from there. If you haven't already ordered it make sure to google coupon codes for them and it can save you on free shipping or a percentage off. :)
that picture kills me! he is perfection. i loved ALL of the bedding you pinned the other day -- i was so hoping you'd post which one you chose. love it!
I feel like so many of my friends are doing the PT thing now, too--and I'm all SO RANDOM THAT WE'RE ALL DOING IT AT THE SAME TIME and then I remember we all basically have the same age kids.
And it's amazing how much celebration some pee gets, right? I feel a little crazy but Eme and I hug practically EVERY TIME and High five like AS SHE'S GOING. bahahaha. It's intense around here. Freaking love these little smarties. and HOLLAAAAA, I haven't changed a diaper in 7 days! (ahem, on her big butt. my little one? AH AHAHAHAHAH all the damn time)
GO SMITH GO!
Gawdddddddddd potty training can be such a betch! Definitely not looking forward to it... Hopefully Miss P cooperates ;) PS you are getting all high falootn and shiz but I love the bedding LOL

Yay for potty training! I hated it the first time around and I'm pretty damn sure I'm going to hate it even more this time. I have a feeling this child is going to pee wherever he feels like...and it won't be in the potty. That bedding is adorbs! Smith is suuch a cutie pie! You make cute babies lady! :)
G has zero interest in potty training. He's sleeping better, though, so beggars can't be choosers, I guess. Hmph.
That bedding is awesome. In just a few short years he'll be begging for superhero crap and if you are like me you'll give in. So enjoy it while you can.
Are little boy butts in little boy undies the cutest thing ever?
And I'm sort of glad right now that my kid is delayed and that we're not potty training. Cause it's the ONE THING I hate about parenthood. BLEH
New Reader! Just wanted to say hello :) And that I just spent an hour reading your blog.. hysterical!
